Two friends who never stopped caring about the little details
Brandon Ellington and Oran Walker met in 2000, working for one of the largest plumbing and mechanical companies in Florida. They've been best friends ever since.
Early on, Oran finished a section of work on a job they shared and proudly showed it to Brandon, expecting a pat on the back. Brandon told him it was good. Then he walked Oran over to some other work on the project and showed him how the next steps and the little details made it look better. Oran admits he was secretly a little upset at the time. Today they both laugh about it, and Oran says that was the moment he started taking real pride in the quality of his work.
That moment is still how we work. Anyone can make a pipe hold water. We care about the parts most people never look at: clean, straight runs, proper supports, neat connections, a job site left cleaner than we found it. The little details are what separate good work from great work.
Different strengths, one standard
Oran is the go-getter. He's always pushing to keep the job moving and get it done. Brandon is the careful one. He double-checks the plan and isn't shy about slowing things down to get them right. Oran pushes, Brandon checks, and the work comes out better because of both of them.
Between them, they bring over 50 years of combined plumbing experience, including decades on commercial projects where work is planned, permitted, inspected, and expected to last. Now they've built Walkington Plumbing to bring that same standard to homes and businesses across Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties.
